Janet Doble is an award-winning ceramicist based in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, working from Art Lab Studios and Gallery — a co-operative space shared by five artists. With over 30 years of experience in functional and decorative earthenware, she is known for her maiolica glaze work with floral on-glaze painting, and currently incorporates locally dug clay from the shores of the Bay of Fundy.
